La potière derrière Paper Boat Press est l'Australienne Kylie Johnson, et son titre n'est pas seulement potière, mais elle est aussi poète et a publié plusieurs livres. Elle combine deux de ses nombreux talents – imprimer à la main de beaux mots, des citations (d’auteurs célèbres) et ses propres mots et poèmes – sur une belle porcelaine blanc cassé faite à la main. Ses messages vont loin et ne sont pas seulement connus dans son pays d'origine, l'Australie, mais elle vend également ses produits aux États-Unis et dans certains pays d'Europe et maintenant aussi chez unika:ki Danemark.
