Matcha tea organic - premium Anatae - Japanese high quality

The tea is hand-picked in Nishio, Japan. Anatae Premium matcha is a beautiful green powder (an indicator of quality matcha) with an authentic taste from the Japanese highlands.

Each tin contains 30g. Depending on how strong you like your matcha, use about 1-2 grams per matcha cup. This premium matcha is excellent for traditional matcha (whisked with water). It can also be enjoyed as hot matcha or cold matcha, where you can add your choice of milk, oat milk, coconut water, or similar.

Matcha is a ground tea that cannot be brewed. It must be stirred (whisked) before serving. Here's how to prepare matcha:

Add 1 level teaspoon of matcha tea to a bowl or matcha cup. Add hot water (max. 75 degrees Celsius). Whisk vigorously until the mixture is smooth and frothy. Enjoy as is, or add milk of your choice (cold or hot) for a delicious matcha latte or matcha iced latte.

Nishio is a small town located in the south-central part of Aichi Prefecture. Nishio is known as one of the most important production areas for matcha, along with Uji (Kyoto) and Kyoto itself. The quality of Nishio matcha is highly recognized throughout the country and abroad.

Anatae tea was started in 2018. Camille – the founder of Anatae – set out in 2016 to explore Asia. It was there that she discovered matcha and its long list of health benefits. When she returned to France and realized that the matcha available in France was of poor quality, her idea of importing quality matcha from Japan was born. In 2018, she then decided to travel to Japan to find the best matcha in the country. Matcha without bitterness and organic, of course – and produced by Japanese farmers who are passionate about tea and caring for the nature around us.
