Important information about the cup: The bottom (on the outside of the cup) is not completely flat. The cup curves slightly inwards at the bottom, making it easier to place and pick up from the table and ensuring stability. The cup is glazed in the middle of the bottom (outermost), but not on the 'ring' that 'contacts' the table. This raw surface also prevents the cup from sliding. However, condensation may sometimes form on the table with hot drinks – this is not a defect in the cup.
