Helle Gram står bag det ikoniske Chubby design – håndlavet dansk keramik med bløde former, smukke glasurer og en kop, der ligger fantastisk i hånden. Hos unika:k har Chubby været en favorit i mange år, og vi elsker, at hver kop har sit eget unikke udtryk.
Siden de første Chubby kopper kom på shoppen, har Helle flyttet sit værksted fra Frederiksberg til naturskønne Frederikssund, hvor hun fortsat støber sit keramik med samme kærlighed til håndværket.
Chubby koppens popularitet inspirerede os til at gøre den endnu mere personlig. Siden 2016 har det været muligt at bestille koppen med navn, dato eller tekst stemplet i leret, mens det stadig er blødt – en detalje, der gør hver kop helt særlig og oplagt som gave til fx barnedåb, Mors dag eller en veninde.
Hver kop brændes og glaseres i hånden, og resultatet er unikt dansk keramik skabt med omtanke, varme og personlighed.

Questions for Helle Gram Keramik
The Chubby mug is designed by Danish ceramicist Helle Gram. We first met her in her workshop and shop in Frederiksberg, where our collaboration began. Today, she still makes the Chubby mugs in her workshop, surrounded by nature in Frederiksværk.
Yes, the Chubby mug is available in many beautiful colours. There are more than 15 different colours, so you can easily find a favourite or combine several colours that go well together.
Yes, you can have personalized text on both the small and regular Chubby cup.
On the small cup, the text can be up to approx. 20 characters, and on the regular cup up to approx. 25 characters.
As the text is stamped into the cup while the clay is still soft, the cup is made especially for you. Therefore, please allow for a delivery time of approx. 2–3 weeks.
Yes, the Chubby cups are dishwasher safe. However, to take extra good care of the cup, we recommend that it is not placed too close to other dishes.
Yes, the Chubby mug can also be made without a handle. If you'd like this version, please feel free to email us at info@unika-k.dk, and we'll gladly help you with your order.
The Chubby cups are handmade in Denmark by the ceramist Helle Gram. Each cup is cast and glazed in her workshop, and therefore small variations in shape and glaze may occur. This is part of the charm of handmade ceramics.
No – because the Chubby cups are handmade, each cup will be slightly unique. Small variations in glaze, colour, and surface are completely natural and are precisely what makes each cup personal.
