Important information about the cup: The bottom (on the outside of the cup) is not completely flat. The cup slightly curves inward at the base, making it easier to place on and lift from the table, as well as providing stability. The cup is glazed in the middle of the bottom (outer part), but not on the 'ring' that comes into 'contact' with the table. This raw surface also prevents the cup from sliding. However, condensation may sometimes form on the table with hot drinks – this is not a defect in the cup.
