The ceramist behind Paper Boat Press is Australian Kylie Johnson, and her title is not only ceramist, but she is also a poet and has published several books. She combines two of her many talents - hand-printing beautiful words, quotes (from famous authors), and her own words and poems - on beautiful, off-white, and handmade porcelain. Her messages reach far and are not only known in her home country of Australia, but she also sells her items in the USA and select countries in Europe, and now also at unika:k in Denmark.
All stars are handmade in her workshop in Brisbane and go through 9 production processes before they are finished.
