Wauw design bowl Songlines - white porcelain

The name of the design is Songlines. The shape appeals to the senses with its soft, wavy exterior, which makes it absolutely fantastic. It is the dish that you will choose for your breakfast every morning - and never tire of.

Songlines is a hand-turned porcelain series. The expression is soft and poetic. The shape is first turned up and then the wave is turned into the object as a clear turning track following one's fingers, thus telling a story about an old craft.

The series has been named Songlines, as the wave made the ceramicist Wauw Design think of Bruce Chatwin's novel of the same name, which, among other things, is about the secret songlines of the Aboriginal people, musical-poetic geography and very special outlook on life.
